Bushfire Response and Recovery Information
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the ongoing bushfires across Victoria. We recognise this is an extremely difficult time, particularly for those in regional areas, with fires continuing to impact colleagues, communities, businesses and the agricultural sector.
On Saturday 10 January 2026, a State of Disaster was declared and remains in force until 8 February (subject to change). We sincerely hope you, your teams and your families are safe.
As noted by the Victorian Emergency Management Commissioner, the full community and sector impacts will not be known for several weeks, as major fire zones continue to burn and containment remains the priority. While weather conditions may improve at times, this remains an unsettling and uncertain period.
This page brings together key support services and resources for Victorian distilleries and regional businesses impacted by bushfires. Some services may be helpful immediately, while others will assist throughout recovery. If you are looking for a comprehensive map of distilleries in Victoria, please visit the Makers page on Vic Distilled website to see your local distillery.
Reporting Damage and Loss – Agriculture Victoria
Agriculture Victoria is requesting all affected primary producers to complete the online Loss and Damage Assessment Form, even if you have already spoken with a representative.
This ensures your information is formally recorded and helps inform government recovery planning and support.
Farmers and primary producers can report loss and damage here:

If you do not already have a Property Identification Code (PIC), you can apply online: https://pic.agriculture.vic.gov.au
